Let’s take a look at what we have in store for you in this week’s update.

Players will be able to view this update after the maintenance on Thursday, January 18.

1. Hero and Artifact Balance Adjustments

Balance adjustments will be made to certain Heroes, facilitating better strategies involving them.

※ The probability, number of turns, and cooldowns are based on fully enhanced characters.

※ Other skills will not be changed unless stated.

1. Hero Balance Adjustments

■ 5★ Judge Kise (Light, Warrior)

- The effect of <Sever> will be changed.

- The effect of <End of Evil> will be changed and its cooldown will be increased.

- A soulburn effect will be added to <End of Evil>.

- The effect of <Wave of Light> will be changed, and it will deal more damage.

- The Cooldown of <Wave of Light> will be reduced and the soulburn effect will be removed.

- The Hero's Imprint Concentration effect will be changed.

■ 5★ Specimen Sez (Light, Thief)

- The effect of <Light Storm> will be changed.

■ 5★ Spirit Eye Celine (Light, Thief)

- The effect of <Nimble Sword> within <Mighty Strike> will be changed.

- The effect of <Posession> within <Spirit Gate:  Burning Possession> will be changed.

■ 5★ Hwayoung (Fire, Warrior)

- The effect of <Supersonic Kick> will be changed, and its additional damage will be increased.

- A soulburn effect will be added to <Supersonic Kick>.

- The effect of <Prairie Hawk> will be changed.

- The Skill Enhance effect of <Prairie Hawk> will be changed.

- The effect of <Monarch's Flaming Strike> will be changed and it will deal less damage.

- The skill cooldown of <Monarch's Flaming Strike> will be decreased and the soulburn effect will be removed.

■ 5★Elena (Ice, Soul Weaver)

- The effect of <Eternally Shining Comet> will be changed.

- Exclusive Equipment – Option 2 Skill effect <Eternally Shining Comet> will be changed.

■ 5★ Command Model Laika (Earth, Ranger)

- The effect of <Volley Fire!> will be changed.

- Exclusive Equipment – Option 2 Skill effect <Strike Order> will be changed.

■ 4★ Infinite Horizon Achates (Light, Soul Weaver)

- The effect of <Matter Reconstruction> will be changed.

■ 4★ Romann (Ice, Mage)

- The effect of <Event Horizon> will be changed.

■ 3★ Montmorancy (Ice, Soul Weaver)

- The effect of <Sleep Sorcery> will be changed.

■ 3★ Angelic Montmorancy (Ice, Soul Weaver)

- The effect of <Sleep Sorcery> will be changed.

 - The effect and enhancement effect of the <Solitude Rune> will be changed.

2. Artifact Balance Adjustments

2. 5★ Elvira Balance Adjustment and Recall

- Balance adjustment and a recall will be conducted for 5★ Hero Elvira

■ 5★ Elvira (Ice, Thief)

- The effect of <Hit and Run> will be changed.

- The effect of <Blood Mana> will be changed.

- The additional skill, <Exterminate> will deal more damage.

- The effect of <Capturing Sacrifice> will be changed.

■ Recall Schedule

■ Hero Recall

[Recall Conditions]

Heroes at Lv 50 or above obtained before the recall period (Only a single recall is possible)

[How to Recall]

1. Open the Hero Details window and tap the Recall button.

2. The materials you will be given if you proceed with the recall will be displayed. Tap [Recall] to proceed with the recall.

3. Select [Recall] in both the first and second confirmation windows to proceed with the recall.

   - Once the recall has been applied it cannot be reversed.

[Materials Returned After Recalling]

1. Level

- Penguins and Gold to be returned will be determined based on the current level and EXP of the Hero.

- Hero EXP will be rounded up and exchanged with Newbie Penguins and Experienced Penguins.

2. Grade

- Potion of Ascension and Gold will be issued according to the Hero’s current star grade at the time of Recall.

- Potion of Ascension will be provided when recalling a 6★ Hero.

3. Awakening

- Runes and Catalysts will be reissued equal to the amounts used for Awakening.

4. Skill Enhancement

- All MolaGora, Catalysts, and Gold will be reissued according to the amounts used for Skill Enhancement as listed in-game.

5. Memory Imprint

- The Heroes will be returned as Slate of Fate based on the number of Memory Imprints performed.

- Slate of Fate cannot be used on Moonlight, Limited, or Collaboration Heroes.

- See below for the number of items returned based on the grade of the Devotion Skill.

6. Ego Fragment

- An Ego Fragment will be reimbursed if Imprint Concentration has been unlocked.

7. 5★ Covenant Hero Selector

- You can select and summon a 5★ Covenant Hero you desire.

- Tap the [Do not display duplicates] checkbox if necessary.

- After selecting a Hero, Elvira will be deleted and you will receive the selected Hero.

- You cannot select Moonlight or Limited Heroes with the 5★ Covenant Hero Selector.

8. Friendship

- The recalled Elvira will have their Friendship reset and you will receive Friendship items equivalent to the friendship you had with Elvira.

※ Once the recall has been applied it cannot be reversed. Please be fully aware of the outcome of the recall before proceeding.

※ The schedule above is subject to change. If the schedule is changed, we will notify you.

※ Please remove the Hero from your Expedition team if you get a related instructional message and try to Recall again.

※ Heroes in the Storage will not be available for Recall. Please remove the Hero from the Storage before Recall.

- Heroes acquired from 5★ Covenant Hero Selector will not be counted toward the Hero summoned from Banners/Summon Ticket in [Journal > Hero Journal 5★ Covenant Hero Details]

■ Elvira & Beguiling Wings Drop Rate Up  Period Extension

The drop rate up period for 5★ Hero Elvira will be extended due to her balance adjustement.

3.Effect Change Temporarily Available for Exclusive Equipment Balance Adjustments

Effects can be changed for a set period as adjustments will be made to the Exclusive Equipment of some Heroes.

Players can change the effects only once.

■ Exclusive Equipment Effect Change

- Select the Exclusive Equipment to be changed and tap Change Effect.

■ Notes for Exclusive Equipment Effect Change

- The main effect value will not be changed.

- Players can change the effect of the eligible Exclusive Equipment only once.

- When a player changes the effects, the changes cannot be reversed.

- When a player changes the effects, the Equipment will be unequipped automatically.

- Equipment obtained after adjustments are made will not be eligible for this effect change.

4.  New 5★ Hero, Dragon King Sharun

A blue Dragon of the azure ocean who governs the cycles of nature.

Players will be able to meet Dragon King Sharun in Covenant, Mystic, and Moonlight Summons.

5. Album Side Story, New Year’s Grand

■ Album Side Story, “New Year's Grand Festival” Information

[Puzzle Missions]

- Puzzle missions are assigned randomly and missions that have not yet been completed can be changed.

- The first 10 mission changes are free. Following that, the cost to change the mission increases with each additional change. Rewards do not change when the mission goal is changed.

- Players can undertake 3 missions at the same time and can view the missions on a list located on the right side of the screen.

[Story Progress]

- Once you remove a certain number of pieces, an event button will activate based on your level of progress.

- Each event button is connected to a story or stage.

- Players can view stories they have already seen including the prologue.

[Acquire Illustration]

- When a player obtains a reward for a mission, the puzzle piece will disappear and will be replaced with an illustration silhouette.

- When a player completes 100% of the album, the silhouette will disappear and the illustration will be unlocked, along with added effects to the illustration.

- The illustration obtained will be added to [Journal > Art Journal > Side Story > New Year's Grand Festival].

6. Command Model Laika & Glo-Wings 21 Drop Rate Up

In this Drop Rate Up meet Command Model Laika, an Earth Elemental Ranger that is very versatile and capable of playing any role in any game mode. Players can also obtain the Ranger exclusive Artifact, Glo-Wings 21, which increases the potential of Rangers that use non-attack skills.

7. Other Improvements and Adjustments

■ Skin

※ The Epic skin, Harmonic Conductor: Belian, which is the reward for achieving Master League or above in World Arena Insight Season, will be distributed via mailbox.

■ Adventure and Story

- A Recommended Content tag for February will be added to certain Heroes.

■ Heroes and Artifacts

- An issue where Duselnorc and Church of Ilryos Heroes were incorrectly displayed as having the same affiliation in the Hero Journal will be fixed.

- An issue where pet modeling became opaque after entering the 'Pet Shop' in the Pet House will be addressed.

■ Battle

- An issue where the scroll was automatically moved to the bottom when returning to the Inventory after adjusting it while arranging items will be fixed.

- An intermittent issue preventing players from progressing in Episode 5, stage 4-8, Bloodrose Villa, will be addressed.   

- The stats of the boss in the Hard and Hell difficulty of Bomb Model Kanna’s side story, ‘Kanna Takes Flight,’ will be adjusted.

- An issue where Repeat Battling started from the first battle during Background Battling in certain situations will be addressed.

- An issue where the skill effects that recover health for both the target ally and the caster are only applied once when the skill is used on the caster will be fixed.          

■ World Arena

- The World Arena Replays recorded before the update will no longer be playable due to the Hero and Artifact Balance Adjustments.

■ Other

- The Guild Chat collective view setting can now be saved, and it will persist even when exiting the Epic Seven app and restarting it on the same device.

- The unlock conditions for Rift will be changed.

- An issue where the scroll was automatically moved to the bottom when returning to the Inventory after adjusting it while arranging items will be fixed.

- An issue where, under specific circumstances, the Moonlight’s Blessing Hero, in a locked state, could be assigned to the Guild War defense team will be fixed.

- An issue where the scroll position was altered under specific circumstances in [Shop > Skins] will be addressed.

- An issue where the resolution did not match when playing on an AOS device in the Galaxy Fold external screen environment will be fixed.

- 2023 ECL Celebration Illustration Reward will be delivered to your mailbox.
